I presume that the Deputy is referring to the Government's guidelines for the 25th pay round which were issued on 14 August. They set out the Government's views on various factors which should be taken into account by all parties, both in the private and public sectors, who were engaged in pay negotiation. The considerations set out in the Government statement of 14 August have not changed materially in the meantime.
