Vol. 361 No. 8

Written Answers. - Government Tenders.

98.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will give details of capital works being done at Gormanstown Camp, County Meath including the new runways, during 1985-86 and if he could give details of how and when tenders may be submitted by contractors who are interested in this work.

At present a two storey development including office accommodation, mess facilities and living accommodation is nearing completion and an existing (grass) runway is being resurfaced with an all-weather surface at Gormanstown Camp. Contracts for these works have already been placed and are virtually complete.

Contractors who are interested in tendering for any further capital works which may arise at this location should apply in writing to the contracts officer of my Department to be included on a list of potential contractors.
