asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the volume of sawlog and other timber which he proposes to offer for sale this year; and the amount disposed of to date.

The amount of sawlog and other timber programmed by the Forest and Wildlife Service of my Department for marketing in 1985 is 1.25 million /m³ (i.e. 0.6 million/m³ sawlog and 0.625 million/m³ other timber). Up to the end of October 1985 0.47 million/m³ of sawlog and 0.5 million/m³ of other timber had been sold.
