asked the Minister for the Environment, in view of the fact that Road Accident Facts for the year 1984 have not been placed in the Dáil Library, if he will now release this information by way of answer to Deputy Briscoe's Parliamentary Question No. 66 of 20 November 1985; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that a copy of the report Road Accident Facts, 1984 was transmitted by An Foras Forbartha to the Dáil Library on 18 November 1985 but that it was not available for the Deputy, when he sought it as it had been given on loan to another Member of the House. Since then, additional copies of the report have, at my request, been made available to the library by An Foras.

In order to facilitate the Deputy at this stage, such relevant information as is available in the reports related to pedal cycle casualties for the four years 1981-1984 inclusive is set out in the table as follows:
