Vol. 362 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dún Laoghaire Harbour.

119.

asked the Minister for Finance the amount of grants which were paid to the port at Dún Laoghaire over the past ten years; and the amount of the current annual revenue.

Grant moneys are not paid to Dún Laoghaire harbour; the cost of the upkeep of the harbour is met from the Vote for public works and buildings. Details of capital expenditure at the harbour were given in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 365 on 18 January 1984 (Columns 111-113 of the Official Report). Amounts of £45,575 and £6,929 were expended in the years 1983 and 1984 respectively. Revenue in 1985 is expected to be in the order of £1.55 million.
