asked the Minister for Finance the persons in receipt of pensions payable to former members of the Oireachtas and the widows of former members; and the amounts currently payable in each case.

The changes in the position since the reply to the Deputy's parliamentary question on 27 November 1984 are:

(i) An increase in the pension rates of 3 per cent from 1 January 1985 and a further 3 per cent from 1 July 1985;

(ii) The inclusion of Mrs. Dorothy Stanford, widow of the late W.B. Stanford, who is in receipt of a pension of £2,624.35, i.e. half of her late husband's entitlement, and of the deletion of the following deceased:— Margaret Carton, Des Governey, Fintan Coogan, William Stanford, Cora Dunne, Kathleen Lemass, Helena Norton, Gretta Lahiffe, Alice Mac Eoin, Brigid Breen, Anne Ahern, Roslind Sweetman, Maureen Cunningham, Alexis FitzGerald, Brigid Fagan, Máire Ní Bhuachalla, Margaret Hogan, Patrick Burke, Timothy McAuliffe, John Moher, Abigail Kyne, Mary McEllistrim, Mary C. Flanagan.
