Vol. 362 No. 5

Written Answers. - Company Closure.

34.

asked the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism the efforts, if any, he is making to have a company (details supplied) reopened and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The company in question closed this particular plant as a result of over-capacity in the marketplace for their product. At the time of closure the company indicated that they would review the situation as appropriate and the plant is being maintained by the company pending any change in market demand.
