Vol. 362 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers.

On a point of order, with regard to the questions nominated today for priority, by agreement and notwithstanding the order of 28 May 1985 in relation to priority questions for oral answers, Deputy M. J. Nolan should be permitted to put supplementary questions as I understand that the Opposition spokesman is ill.

Is that agreed?

Yes. I would express our appreciation to the Minister of State. Our spokesman is ill, but both the Minister of State and myself agreed that this should be regarded as a strictly unique departure from precedent.

I am grateful to Deputy Haughey for clarifying that. Is that agreed? Agreed.

I am deputising for my colleague, Deputy Kavanagh, who is participating in the Inter-Governmental Conference meeting in Belfast, lest anyone thinks there have been Government changes.
