Vol. 362 No. 10

Written Answers. - Boyne Drainage Scheme.

48.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will confirm that gratuity payments will be given to the 87 employees on the Boyne drainage scheme at Trim, County Meath, together with their redundancy money: and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Redundancy payments will be made to the 87 employees on the Boyne drainage scheme at Trim, County Meath, on their last day of service.

Gratuities will also be paid to these employees. Every effort is being made to pay the gratuities as quickly as possible and it is hoped that payment will be made by the end of February 1986. This date has already been indicated to the unions involved as the earliest date on which payment of the gratuities can be made.
