Vol. 362 No. 14

Written Answers. - Definition of Terms.

103.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will define the terms “family farm income” and “family farm worker” as used in his answer to Parliamentary Question No. 60 of 3 July last.

As indicated in reply to Question No. 60 of 3 July 1985 family farm income is the income from self-employment and other trading income in agriculture. The number of family farm workers is derived from data on farmers and assisting relatives in the labour force survey carried out by the Central Statistics Office.
