25.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The applicant in this case has been requested on a number of occasions to submit further documentation in support of his application. When this is received the file will be referred to my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to allocation and payment of the grant.

26.

asked the Minister for Defence the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 who is a light flyweight member of the Irish international boxing team and who passed his interview and medical was not successful so far for the Defence Forces; and if his position will be reviewed urgently.

The person in question is considered unsuitable for enlistment in the Permanent Defence Force.
