asked the Minister for Health the number of children in County Roscommon who have suffered severe disability as a result of the whooping cough vaccine in each of the years 1981 to 1985, inclusive; if compensation has been paid; and the total amount in each case.

Each health board monitors the operation of the whooping cough vaccination scheme. It is reported by the Western Health Board that no children in the County Roscommon area suffered severe disability as a result of whooping cough vaccine in the years 1981 to 1985.
