Vol. 363 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hollyhill (Cork) Workshop.

56.

asked the Minister for Health the reason he has not sanctioned the funding required to staff the premises built by the Southern Health Board as a workshop for the rehabilitation of handicapped persons at Hollyhill, Cork.

In view of the current financial restrictions, it has not been possible to provide additional funds to the Southern Health Board for the purposes of opening this workshop. My Department will be in communication with the Southern Health Board on the possibility of including the opening of this workshop as part of their plan for development of the psychiatric services in their area.
