Vol. 363 No. 4

Written Answers. - Farm Subsidy.

18.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if any of the schemes, introduced to alleviate the problems faced by farmers because of the atrocious weather conditions, will be given to farmers whose herds are locked up due to disease.

Farmers whose herds were locked up under the disease eradication scheme were entitled to apply for and be paid subsidy on the same basis as other farmers under the various schemes operated to alleviate the fodder problems caused by the continuous bad weather in 1985.
