I propose to take Questions Nos. 51 and 52 together. The following statement, based on information submitted by local authorities, sets out the number of approved housing applicants in each local authority area at the 31 December 1984 (the latest date for which the details are available in my Department) and the number of those who were categorised by local authorities as homeless.
