(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture in view of his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 149 of 17 December 1985 in which he confirmed that appointments to the Brussels FADN committee were made by his Department, if he accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the data which these appointees give to the Commission; and if he will reply to queries regarding this data.

Data for the farm accountancy data network is based on individual farm returns, which are supplied directly to the Commission in confidence by the accounting agency involved, viz. An Foras Talúntais.
