Tenders are being examined for the proposed extension to St. Patrick's national school, Stamullen, County Meath. A recent review of enrolments has established a decline in average attendance, as a result of which only two, instead of three additional classrooms, will be required. It has been necessary to consult with the planning authority about the change in the accommodation and the outcome of their consultation is awaited. I am not in a position at this stage to say when building works may commence.
