asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who has had a final inspection for a new house grant will receive payment.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and all the conditions applying to the grants scheme have been fulfilled. The occupier was not at home when an inspector called recently by appointment. A further inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment if an inspection for a house improvement grant can be arranged for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny so that he can commence work before the middle of February.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a house improvement scheme grant to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

There is no record of the receipt in my Department of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment whether he has received an application for a house improvement scheme grant from a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if the engineer has visited the applicant; and if the applicant is now in a position to proceed with the work on his house.
