Vol. 363 No. 7

Written Answers. - Land Transfers.

141.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware of the concern expressed by the president of the ICMSA in relation to alleged questionable dealings by members of the legal and auctioneering professions arising from land deals for milk levy purposes; the action he proposes to take; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have laid down very strict rules about land transfers affecting the super levy system. If evidence that these rules are not being observed is brought to my Department's notice or is uncovered in the course of normal official checks, appropriate action will be taken against those involved.
