An inspection was carried out in this case under the 1981 scheme of house improvement grants in July 1985 but a grant approval cannot be issued pending the submission by the applicant of evidence of planning permission requested from him on 9 July 1985. An application has not been received from this person under the 1985 scheme of grants. As the latter scheme is only fully in operation for a relatively short period it is not possible to give any definite indication of the average waiting period for inspections.
