Vol. 363 No. 11

Written Answers. - Heat Insulation in Local Authority Houses.

33.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he proposes to improve the standard of heat insulation required for local authority and grant assisted houses; and, if so, the value he now proposes to establish.

I do not propose to change the standard of heat insulation required for local authority and grant assisted houses. The current standard as set out in Part H of the proposed building regulations is considered reasonable and adequate.
