The EC guide price for beef is IR£153.79 per 100 kgs. live-weight. The average price of cattle in Ireland in the week ended 29 January was IR£99.95 per 100 kgs live-weight, while the corresponding average adult cattle prices (live-weight) in nine other member states were as follows:—

As regards milk the EC target price applicable for the 1985-86 milk marketing year is 97.76p/gallon. The actual price paid for milk in Ireland and in other member states at the end of January is not yet available.
