Vol. 363 No. 13

Written Answers. - Defence Forces Act.

87.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will amend the section of the Defence Forces Act, 1954, which provides that an accumulation of court fines in excess of £10 merits a conduct rating of less than good for members of the Defence Forces, so that the penalty will be in line with those being imposed in the court in 1986.

The criteria governing the assessment of conduct of personnel of the Defence Forces are prescribed in Defence Force regulations and are at present under review.
