Vol. 364 No. 5

Written Answers. - Killybegs (Donegal) Auction Hall.

61.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry if he is now in a position to authorise the demolition of the old auction hall building in Killybegs, County Donegal; if alternative arrangements have been made for those who are occupying the building; and when the demolition order will be made.

The demolition of the old auction hall in Killybegs cannot proceed until vacant possession of the premises is secured. An offer of temporary alternative accommodation was made to the existing tenants but this was not availed of. The possibility of permanent alternative accommodation is at present being examined.
