Vol. 364 No. 5

Written Answers. - Issue of Radio Frequency Band.

69.

asked the Minister for Communications the reason for the delay in having a frequency band issued to a business man (details supplied) in County Wexford, as further expansion to this company has been seriously curtailed as a result of this delay.

The delay was due to a shortage of engineering staff who are required to process these applications. However, the application in question has now been cleared and a notification has been sent to the applicant within the last few days. A licence will issue, as is standard practice, when the equipment is ready for delivery.
