Vol. 364 No. 7

Written Answers. - County Donegal School.

171.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Education the number of two-teacher national schools in County Donegal which have installed solid fuel central heating and have applied for grant aid; whether these grants have been approved; if not, the reason, in view of the fact that the capital cost of installation and running cost of these schemes, compared with oil, electricity, etc. would be more than favourable; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It will take some time to assemble the information requested and I will write to the Deputy as soon as possible.

172.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Education whether it is proposed to move a special class for handicapped children from its present location in Donegal town, to the new school in Killymard, Donegal PO.

My Department is not aware of any such proposal.
