Vol. 364 No. 7

Written Answers. - Pension Entitlement.

57.

asked the Minister for Defence the present position with regard to an application made by an employee (details supplied) for inclusion in a pension or retirement scheme; and if he will give details of the type of pension for which the applicant will qualify on retirement.

The person referred to will not reach the normal retiring age until 22 February 1994. In the ordinary course he would then be eligible for a gratuity and pension under the non-contributory pension scheme for non-established State employees. An information booklet giving details of the scheme will be issued to him.
