asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in respect of the years 1983 and 1984, the number of motor spirit stations operated by (1) petroleum companies, and (2) dealers and total sales of motor spirit of each category; in respect of each year from 1981, the number of proposals received by the Examiner of Restrictive Practices under Article 19 (4) of the Restrictive Practices (Motor Spirit and Motor Vehicle Lubricating Oil) Order, 1981, for operation of company stations involving the closing of existing company stations; the number of company stations closed; the storage capacity of new company stations; and the number of petroleum companies which submitted proposals.
