Vol. 365 No. 1

Written Answers. - Retirement Pension.

153.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in the payment of a retirement pension to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will have the matter expedited.

This case involved correspondence which proved time consuming and this coupled with an oversight which occurred in the course of processing caused delay which is regretted.

A payable order for the gratuity payment was issued to this person on the 24 March 1986 and on the same date the Paymaster General's Office was notified of the pension payable to him.
