asked the Minister for Education if he has received an application for assistance for additional facilities and an extension from Laurel Hill school, Limerick; his proposals in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is an application for grant-aid towards additional facilities at Laurel Hill school. Architectural planning of the proposed scheme is at an advanced stage.

The plan is to provide 1,114m² of additional teaching accommodation by converting the school's dormitory block.
