asked the Taoiseach the tonnage of ground limestone imported to (a) the Republic of Ireland and (b) Donegal from Northern Ireland during 1985.

External trade statistics are compiled only for the State as a whole and are not available for individual counties. The information available relates to "limestone flux and calcareous stone commonly used for the manufacture of lime or cement". The importation of this product from Northern Ireland amounted to 18,834 tonnes in 1985.
