(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
A recent inspection revealed that further work had to be carried out to the house. Payment of the grant cannot be made until a further inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that the other conditions for payment have been fulfilled.

A new house grant will be approved in this case when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions of the grant scheme have been fulfilled. The inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.

A new house grant was approved in this case on 10 October 1985. The grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and all the conditions of the scheme have been fulfilled. The relevant file is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report.
