Vol. 365 No. 8

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

67.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid a grant for farm buildings.

Following receipt of an application in April 1985 for cow byre, dungstead, concrete yard and silo, an inspection was carried out which revealed that the cow byre, dungstead and concrete yard had been undertaken without the prior written approval of the farm development service. Accordingly, the work does not qualify for grant aid.

The application in respect of the silo will be processed when the applicant has obtained the necessary planning permission.
