I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, since ceasing employment on 2 January 1986 the taxpayer has submitted two claims to the inspector of taxes for repayment of tax on the grounds of unemployment. Both claims have been dealt with and cheques in settlement of the total refund due for 1985-86 were issued to the taxpayer on 18 February 1986 and 30 April 1986.
