Vol. 365 No. 14

Written Answers. - Income Tax Refund.

80.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a tax refund has not been paid in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that according to information supplied by the taxpayer he became employed on 28 January 1986 and ceased employment on 14 March 1986. He took up employment with another employer on 2 April 1986. The inspector has written to the taxpayer requesting details which are necessary to enable a review of his liability for 1985-86 to be carried out. On receipt of the required information the taxpayer's affairs will be brought up to date.
