As I informed the Deputy in reply to Question No. 135 on the Order Paper for 12 November, 1985, the proposed Green Paper on the Health Services was to have been concerned essentially with the organisational structure by which health services are delivered. I have informed the House on a number of occasions that my proposals on the reorganisation of the health services have been considered by Government and that I am now making a more detailed submission to Government on the matter. In these circumstances and given the reviews which have been carried out on various aspects of the health services, I do not now intend to publish a Green Paper.
