My Department received approximately 31,000 applications for examining and superintending the 1986 certificate examinations in response to advertisements placed in the public press in October 1985 and April 1986.
The number to be recruited is as follows: (a) Examiners, 4,000 approximately; (b) Superintendents, 3,000 approximately.
