Vol. 367 No. 5

Written Answers. - Revised House Improvement Grant Scheme.

75.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment whether it is permissible under the terms of the revised house improvement grant scheme for applicants to provide materials for the reconstruction work or whether it is essential for the materials to be provided by the contractor.

Subject to the Department being furnished with copies of receipts for all the material purchased, it is in order for applicants to supply materials for the work in respect of which an application is made. However, the contractor as nominated on the application form or subsequently approved by the Department, must carry out all the works.
