Vol. 367 No. 6

Written Answers. - Dundrum (Dublin) By-pass.

44.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he intends to allocate funds for the proposed by-pass of Dundrum village, Dublin 14.

The scheme was included in the new road plan published in January, 1985 as a major scheme to be commenced in 1987.

In 1985, Dublin County Council submitted drawings, supporting memorandum, and a traffic report relating to the scheme. These detailed proposals are currently the subject of correspondence with the local authority. Subject to the satisfactory outcome of that correspondence, the question of issuing approval to the scheme and the notification of a grant will be considered.
