Vol. 367 No. 6

Written Answers. - Income Tax Assessment.

61.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to review the tax position of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 14 in view of the personal hardship involved.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that they have reviewed the tax position of the person concerned and that they are satisfied that the tax and interest collected in this case were properly due and that any concession over and above that already granted in relation to a portion of the statutory interest charges could not be justified.
