A new house grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions of the grant scheme have been fulfilled. The file in this case is at present with my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of the grant. This inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.
Payment of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be made following payment of the grant and on receipt of the appropriate claim form duly completed and certified by the relevant lending agency.
