Vol. 368 No. 5

Written Answers. - Effects of Industrial Dispute.

199.

(Limerick West): asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give an estimate of the financial losses (a) to farmers, (b) to milk processing premises and (c) to meat factories as a result of the recent strike by officials of his Department.

It is considered that the financial losses to farmers, milk processing plants and meat factories arising from the recent industrial dispute involving some members of the Union of Professional and Technical Civil Servants employed in my Department were negligible.
