Vol. 369 No. 1

Written Answers. - Mountrath (Laois) Girls School.

421.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the payment of grants towards the girls primary school, Mountrath, County Laois; when the grants will be paid; and the total amount of grants which will be paid, in view of the fact that the school is open and completed.

Substantial grant payments have already been paid by my Department towards the cost of the girls' national school, Mountrath, County Laois, and a further instalment will be paid shortly. A small balance of the grant has been retained pending completion to the satisfaction of my Department's professional officers of some minor works.

It is not the practice to disclose the financial details of individual projects these being regarded as confidential information between the school authorities and my Department.
