The Deputy's question is understood to refer to the proposed extension to the existing national school building at Kill, Cootehill, County Cavan. This project presented some complexities and cost difficulties, which it is hoped have now been resolved following consultation between the professional persons involved in the architectural planning. A revised scheme including a cost plan has now been submitted by the school's architect and is being examined by the professional officers of my Department. It is not possible at this stage to say when construction work will commence. In the meantime, defective windows in the existing school have been replaced.
