Donegal County Council were informed on 8 October 1986 of my approval to the acceptance of tenders for the Annagry sewerage scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment the up-to-date position regarding the proposed sewerage scheme for Gweedore, County Donegal.
The preliminary report for the scheme was approved on 31 August 1983. It is a matter for Donegal County Council to prepare contract documents for the scheme. I understand that Donegal County Council are co-operating with Údarás na Gaeltachta in relation to an outfall study and further marine investigations before contract documents can be finalised.
