Vol. 369 No. 8

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

182.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will receive payment of £4,300 for a grant for sheep and cattle houses and a silage pit, inspected and passed three months ago.

No notification has been received by the local farm development service office that the works in question have been completed. On receipt of such notification, the works will be inspected with a view to certification for payment if everything is found to be in order. It is noted that the applicant has not supplied the particulars requested regarding the employment of a contractor. Payment of the grant could be made only if the applicant satisfies all the requirements of the programme, including the requirement that a contractor, where employed, must be registered for VAT purposes.
