Vol. 369 No. 8

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

184.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a farm installation grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The application under the scheme of installation aid for young farmers from the person named is being processed with a view to determining eligibility. It is not possible to say at this stage what the outcome of this examination will be. If the application is found to be in order, payment of the installation grant would be made without any significant delay.

185.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid disadvantaged area grants for which he applied some time ago.

The herd of the person named will be inspected shortly under the 1986 cattle headage and calf premium schemes and if he is deemed eligible for these schemes he will be paid when the batches which include his payments are processed.
