Vol. 369 No. 8

Written Answers. - Payment of Rent.

125.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that his Department who are responsible for the payment of debts for office space for various Government Departments, are in breach of its agreement by not paying its rent on time, in instances such as an office in Wexford Street Iberius House, occupied for land tax assessment and organisation; and if he will ensure that his Department in future will pay promptly and show good example which would be expected from such a professional body.

Payment of rent in respect of the property referred to has been effected by the Commissioners of Public Works and future payments of rent will be made by the commissioners on the appropriate dates.
