74.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture with reference to Parliamentary Question No. 151 of 28' January last, if he will state whether the boards of management of either or both firms were notified regarding the irregularities found by his Department; and also state the dates on which such notification was given.

The management of both the firms concerned were first notified of investigations into possible irregularities on 7 March 1983 in one case and 1 December 1983 in the other.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture with reference to Parliamentary Question No. 151 of 28 January if he will state the area in which the firm not encompassed by his reply of 30 October last to Parliamentary Question No. 95 was based: and whether that firm was a co-operative.

The firm concerned is based in the Dublin area and is not an agricultural co-operative society.

76.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture with reference to Parliamentary Question No. 95 of 30 October if the firm in the Waterford area was a co-op; if the firm has since ceased trading; and the date on which it ceased trading.

The firm concerned was an agricultural co-operative society and went into receivership on 30 November 1984.
