In regard to meetings with NATO, I would refer the Deputy to the reply to Question No. 18 of 4 July 1985. I do not think that a further meeting would be appropriate at this stage. As I indicated in the course of exchanges during questions on 30 October (column 1053) it is open to the association, and indeed more appropriate for them, to have discussions with local authorities where their organisation is represented and where they have particular views to express in relation to rent schemes.
